Swimming, cycling, and running often feel like such a chore in our dark and long Seattle winters. However, the days are getting longer, the sun is starting to nose up over the horizon, and Spring is finally here. Spring is the time that we put in the foundation for the Summer. The summer is when we shine.

Many of us made New Year’s Resolutions. Some of us are still holding true to those New Year’s Resolutions, but probably not all. It’s okay, it happens. The long dark winters make it tough to get out there all the time. Many of our New Year’s resolutions involve getting healthy, faster, more fit, or more energetic. Unfortunately, many of them are already out the window. You need to be realistic about your training plan, make sure it fits into your schedule, and that you can be consistent  - each day, in one way or another, chipping away at what stands between you and your goals.
